Joon Bae

Joon Bae is a third-year law student pursuing a JD with tax emphasis at Chapman University Fowler School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Joon worked at a local CPA firm as a part time accountant. He has had the opportunity to tackle various tax project from individual and corporate tax returns to multi-national corporate tax returns and valuation project of a private company. While working as an accountant, Joon studied and passed all four sections of the CPA exams.

Joon wanted to enhance his knowledge in taxation and felt law school would be a great opportunity to fulfill his academic desire and has been taking most of the tax law courses offered at Chapman University.

Born in South Korea where he lived until he was 13 years old, Joon then moved to the United States with his family in 2010. In his personal time, Joon enjoys playing golf, going to the gym, and reading religion-related books.
