As a reminder, I will be speaking in an upcoming seminar this week at the Internal Revenue Service ("IRS") Nationwide Tax Forum in San Diego, California. The Forum will take place from Tuesday, August 7th to Thursday, August 9th at the Town & Country Resort and Convention Center.
My seminar will be taking an in-depth look at Passport Revocation for what we call "Seriously Delinquent Tax Debt", an issue that has become increasingly relevant for many of our clients. This seminar will explain how and when the IRS will certify a tax debt as "seriously delinquent", along with methods to avoid such certification.
